What is the best way to store a SCUBA Buoyancy Compensator Device for several months?

For the first time, I used my own personally owned SCUBA gear to dive. I was diving for several weeks in salt water, and then returned home. I probably will not be diving again for several months, how should I store my BC and reg?

As soon as possible after leaving salt water you ought to have thoroughly rinsed it with fresh water. That's rule #1 with any dive gear when used in salt. The BC bladder itself ought to have been drained and then flushed with fresh water as well, then drained again. Some people add an anti bacterial agent in that last bladder rinse, some don't. Up to you. Leave the bladder partially inflated, so that the lining inside doesn't stick together.Stowage is best done with a proper hangar in a cool, dry area of your house and out of direct sunlight. Your Reg set ought to be coiled properly with the first stage stopper in place and also in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight after a proper fresh water rinse with the reg set under pressure from a tank for that rinse. A habit that you ought to take up after any dive, fresh or salt water is gently cracking your tank valve after undoing your yolk or din, to blow any water out of the area before placing your first stage stopper on the first stage. Do it easy or you may lose the tank valve O ring ( you have several in your save a dive kit, right?). This keeps H2O out of your first stage filter. Some filters are synthetic...some aren't. If you see green in there...take the regs in for service. You got water in the first stage for sure. Doing all this post dive and while the regs are pressurized will ensure nothing ought to back up from the second to the first stage and allows a good cleaning of the diaphragm in the second stages ( don't forget the octo). Allow both reg set and BC to dry before storage and all will likely be ready to rock when you need them. It's always a good idea to have both checked prior to reintroducing them back into service so keep that in mind before their next use after an extended stowage period.

Buying the right size, style and material for bathing suits is important, especially if you are a professional swimmer. There is a wide range of men's bathing suits to choose from, so it takes a little time to figure out the right type of bathing suit. Here are a few guidelines that may be able to help you decide what type of bathing suit would match your style and needs.

Kids' bathing suits such as wetsuits are good for slowing down heat loss from the child's body: they are a must for kids who are into swimming, surfing or scuba-diving. For kids who scuba dive a lot, thermal suits with more heat loss protection are recommended because body metabolism of growing children operates at a higher rate than adults, which makes them lose their body heat faster. For younger ones, wetsuits that come along with built-in flotation devices are safest, even though the suits that don't have these do provide a small degree of buoyancy too. For sun protection, bathing suits with ultra violet protective rash-guards should be considered.

Board shorts are basically half length pants, longer than briefs, shorts, or Speedo styles. They may also have a baggy appearance and typically extend to the knee area or a little above it. They are popular, but not exclusively, for water sports such as surfing and wakeboarding. Maybe that's why they are called board shorts. The skater punk fashion of the 1990s and 2000s has also immensely popularized these pants.

Clean and classic lines with a minimum of frippery and unnecessary details seem to work best with plus size clothing. Flounces, bows and loud prints only accentuate what you want to skim over. For skirts, an A line just above or below the knee is always a safe bet for a fuller figure. For blouses, square or round necklines tend to make the shoulders appear wider.

Taking note of care instructions when you purchase your beachwear will prolong its life. Chlorinated water from swimming pools is fairly damaging to swim suits and should be rinsed out. Fading and eventual rotting of the elastine will be the result of neglect. On the whole though, swim suits are one item that are very easy to care for, as they need minimal washing usually just a good rinse will do.

Delta Burke swimwear is perhaps best known for its great plus size swimdresses and tankinis. These styles are extremely comfortable and also work brilliantly on fuller figures. Add in the luscious colors and patterns, and these swim fashions are second to none.

Pick a right plus size swimsuit to look sexy

With the right type of swimsuits full figured women can also look beautiful and sexy. Swim wear with horizontal stripes is a big no. Go in for swim suits that offer an option of mix and match so as to create an impression of well defined curves. As for the colors, do stick to dark shades that tend to create a slimmer look. One-piece bandeau will do wonders for a full figure. A hint of sexiness with the semi exposed upper part of the body will make heads turn at the beach or by a pool side
